‖ dromos Archæol.|ˈdrɒmɒs| [Gr. δρόµος race-course, avenue, f. vbl. stem δρεµ- to run.] An avenue or entrance-passage to a temple or other building, often as in Ancient Egypt between rows of columns or statues.
