dreelite Min. Obs. exc. Hist.|ˈdreɪ-, ˈdriːlaɪt| Also dréelite, dreeite. [ad. F. dréelite, named by P. A. Dufrénoy (1835, in Ann. chim. phys. LX. 102) after E. de Drée: see -lite and -ite1 2 b.] The former name of a supposed sulphate of barium and calcium (see quots. 1888, 1950).
