[f. arse n. by metathesis and perh. partly also by metanalysis (of your arse).]
A. n. The buttocks, the arse. Also transf. as a term of contempt, and attrib. or as adj.
B. v. trans. = bugger v. 2; also ellipt. for ‘shove it up your arse’ used as an insult.
