† sulˈphurious, a. Obs. Also 5 sulphuryose, 6 sulph-, sulfurius, 8 sulphrious. [ad. OF. sulphurieux or L. *sulphuriōsus: see sulphur n. and -ious.] = sulphureous, sulphurous.
