The phenomenon found among the Ctenophora, in which there are two periods of sexual maturity in the same individual, one in the larval and another in the adult form.

VI. 477 In at least one species (Eucharis multicornis) sexually mature larvæ, or larvæ which are capable of reproduction as such, also occur; these, when completely developed, become once more capable of reproduction as adults;—a method of multiplication which has been called dissogony. 1906Camb.
