acquiescent, a. and n.|ækwɪˈɛsənt| [ad. L. acquiēscent-em, pr. pple. of acquiēsc-ĕre; see acquiesce, and -nt.] A. adj. Acquiescing; disposed to acquiesce, quietly agree, or assent.
