▪ I. † disaˈssent, v. Obs. Also 5 dis-, dysasent. [ad. OF. desassent-ir (13–14th c. in Godef.), f. des-, dis- 4 + assentir assent v.] intr. To refuse assent to, withhold assent from; to disagree.
