diplanetic, a. Bot.|daɪpləˈnɛtɪk| [mod. f. Gr. δι- di-2 - twice + πλανητικ-ός disposed to wander, f. πλανητός wandering (see planet).] Having two active periods separated by a period of rest: said of the zoospores of certain Fungi of the family Saprolegnieæ. So diˈplanetism, the condition or property of being diplanetic.
