strobic, a.|ˈstrɒbɪk| [a. Gr. type στροβικ-ός, f. στρόβ-ος a twisting or whirling round: see -ic.] That has a spinning motion. strobic circles: sets of concentric circles, toothed wheels, and the like, which appear to revolve when the surface on which they are inscribed is moved about.
