‖ diaulos Gr. Antiq.|daɪˈɔːlɒs| [Gr. δίαυλος double pipe, channel, or course, f. δι- (di-2) + αὐλός pipe.] 1. A double course, in which the racers turned round a goal and returned to the starting point.
