A steroid compound, C21H30O3, occurring in the adrenal cortex and also prepared synthetically.
1937Steiger & Reichstein in Nature 29 May 926/1 This compound differs from corticosterone only by the absence of the fourth oxygen, and can therefore also be called desox-corticosterone. 1938Chem.
