demonize, v.|ˈdiːmənaɪz| [f. med.L. dæmonizāre: cf. Gr. δαιµονίζ-εσθαι passive, to be possessed by a demon: see -ize.] 1. trans. To make into, or like, a demon; to render demoniacal; to represent as a demon.
