stické|ˈstɪkiː| [From the ending of sphairisticke (a. Gr. σϕαιριστική art of ball-play), the name given in 1874 to the game which afterwards developed into lawn tennis.] A game combining some of the features of lawn tennis and rackets; also attrib., as stické court, stické player.
