stibophen Pharm.|ˈstɪbəfɛn| [f. stib- + -o + phen-.] The compound pentasodium antimonybis(catechol-3, 5-disulphonate) heptahydrate, which is used principally in the treatment of schistosomiasis, and is administered by intramuscular or intravenous injection.
