sterniform, a. Ent.|ˈstɜːnɪfɔːm| [f. stern-um + -iform.] Having the form of a sternum or sternite; applied to a process (sterniform process or sterniform horn) of the first ventral segment of the abdomen in insects, also called intercoxal process.
