definitor|dɛfɪˈnaɪtə(r)| Also 7 diffinitor [a. L. dēfīnītor, agent-n. from dēfīnīre to define.] 1. An officer of the chapter in certain monastic orders, charged with the ‘definition’ or decision of points of discipline.
