1. Furnished with a stave or staves.
a. Having a handle or a supporting stem. Obs.

b. Of a ladder: Furnished with rungs.

c. Arch. Of a column: Having a round convex moulding or bead in the lower part of the fluting. (Cf. cable v. 2 and rudenture.)
